Lockdown
Daily Insight #8: You are not stuck, you just haven't had someone to help pull you out.
You're surrounded by people who seem to be going in the right direction. People who have the best of the best resumes. You feel like you're in last place and everyone else can finish the race. Blah, blah, blah.
The first thing you must do is....STOP IT.
Stop doubting yourself, stop burdening your mind with negatives, begin to feel and think the positives. Of course you have your bad days, but I am sure you will be rewarded with the good. There is always someone there to help you...just look above.
God loves you enough that he wouldn't let you down.

I battle back and forth with my choices in life, but as each day passes by I am even more optimistic and excited about what the future holds for me. Your mindset may feel stuck at the moment. You might feel obliged to do something that in your HEART may feel like a burden. You must realize however that there are many different paths in achieving your ultimate goal.

Jitterbug (Snap, Snap)
Daily Insight #7: When I find something I love, I do it.
The other day I explained to my beau that I have always wanted to do a pageant or a competition of some sorts to showcase my....talent. I am a true drama geek and I was very involved in theatre and the arts for many years, especially in high school. Everything from directing, to acting, to building sets, and designing costumes.
Shoutout to District 3 Troupe 35 & I.T.S!
So researching what I can jump back into, or well; practice just for my own fun, I decided to look for my ultimate MONOLOGUE! Something comedic of course. I already had an idea in my mind and I would love to perform it, but I was not quite sure how it would go over with the crowd. So I searched for another one. And last night I found it! It was perfect!
Now the next step is actually getting out there to do it...
Here goes nothing...(Walks out unto future stage)

Cartoon Philosophy: Charlie Brown
Daily Insight #6: When the chips are down, realize they can always be picked up again.
I have always enjoyed cartoons when I was younger. Never cared for Charlie Brown that much though, yet it's funny how I'm doing an entire blog post on some of the quotes from it. Charlie Brown aka Peanuts is a young, unlucky kid who just doesn't seem to be winning at anything, including life and love. I think we can all relate to C.B. at some point in our lives.

A Mother
This short poetic stanza was written by a very dear friend of mine. He is extremely talented and I figured that as an appropriate beginning to my blogs for the month of May I would choose something based upon Mother's Day. Here it is:
