Cartoon Philosophy: Charlie Brown

Daily Insight #6: When the chips are down, realize they can always be picked up again.

I have always enjoyed cartoons when I was younger. Never cared for Charlie Brown that much though, yet it's funny how I'm doing an entire blog post on some of the quotes from it. Charlie Brown aka Peanuts is a young, unlucky kid who just doesn't seem to be winning at anything, including life and love. I think we can all relate to C.B. at some point in our lives.

"In the book of life, the answers aren`t in the back."
"Happiness is anyone and anything that`s loved by you."
"That's the secret to life...replace one worry with another..."
“Sometimes I lie awake at night, and ask, 'Where have I gone wrong?' Then a voice says to me, 'This is going to take more than one night."
“This is my depressed stance. When you're depressed, it makes a lot of difference how you stand. The worst thing you can do is straighten up and hold your head high because then you'll start to feel better. If you're going to get any joy out of being depressed, you've got to stand like this.”

"You're a good man Charlie Brown"
