Bypass the intros, let’s get to the point…
Now-a-days it seems that blogs are the newest “LiveJournal” with a little more personality and technology. I had an online journal when I was in high school, but coming to college it seemed that all of my writing (stories, plays, poems, etc) had ceased. I hadn’t known why, but it did. For the past month I've been debating the whole blog thing, but now I would really like to get back on the writing path that I fell off a few years ago. So, here goes nothin'…
The title of my blog as you can see from the fancy headline is ‘Because tomorrow isn’t guaranteed…’ Wanna take a wild guess as to what I’ll be writing about???? If you thought it was living life to the fullest, or making sure you live each day like your last, or trying to create your own bucket list, well…you’re wrong.
The fact of the matter is that as college students we don’t have time to do those things! We’re too busy worried about our next exam, trying to please our parents, trying to get the head position in ANY and EVERY organization, moving up the ladder of success, or making as many friends as we possibly can. Tomorrow is already guaranteed in our minds, therefore we don’t look at "What am I doing today"?, we look at "What am I doing for the entire week, month, year"? Our minds are scattered and our brains become pools of “What do I have to do next” rather than “What have I already done TODAY”
The end-all-be-all for most people is death. But why should we wait until death to see how many people care about you? Why should you even wait for validation from another person? Do you really need to be seen to be recognized? To be important? Within this blog, you will get a chance to re-evaluate yourself and your life. Not all at once but daily. This is not a new year’s resolution, this is an everyday celebration. This blog is not meant to cure all your problems, or answer all your questions, or lift your spirits. If you’re mad, be MAD! If you’re happy, be HAPPY! If you’re pissed, be PISSED. No one can tell you how you’re supposed to be, just like no one is going to tell me how to write my blog, It’s my blog (Lil Wayne voice).

Tiffany A. Junior College Student majoring in Anthropology on the Pre-Health track with the intentions to become a Physician’s Assistant and later in life a philanthropist focusing on Global Hunger. I love music, writing, singing, dancing, eating, sports, the beach, sunshine, movies, and everything THEATRICAL! I like other things too, but I don’t think you guys would care that much.
